For independent landlords and small property offices
Property Manager Document Expiration Tracking
Keep rental licenses, inspection dates, insurance policies, and lease renewal dates in one list. Use the owner field or document name to identify the property, and get email reminders before the dates you confirm.
Start free. No credit card needed.
What to track
- Rental licenses and registrations
- Safety and fire inspection dates
- Property insurance
- Lease renewal dates
- Elevator or boiler certificates
Keep each date connected to a property
Create a separate record for each document and date you want to track. Put a property label in the owner field or document name so similar records remain distinguishable. This is a document list, not a property-management system.
Attach the relevant file to each record and use the dashboard's current, due soon, and expired statuses to review dates. DocuDue does not inspect a property, determine legal requirements, or renew a license.
Confirm the date before relying on a reminder
Upload a PDF or photo for a suggested expiration date, then confirm it yourself, or type the date manually. Enter the renewal date you have checked with the relevant document or issuer; requirements and notice periods can differ.
A sensible reminder schedule
30 days before
Review the record and check what preparation is needed.
14 days before
Allow time to arrange an inspection or gather renewal paperwork.
7 days before
Check progress yourself and confirm the date is still correct.
A suggestion, not a rule. You choose the reminder date for each document.
Upload it and DocuDue suggests the date
Smart date extraction reads PDFs and photos and pre-fills the expiration date. You confirm it before anything is saved. See how it works.
Common questions
Can I track documents for more than one property?
Yes. Keep separate document records and use the owner field or document name to label each property. There are no dedicated property-management features.
Will DocuDue notify my tenants or renew a permit?
No. It sends reminder emails according to your reminder settings. It does not email tenants on your behalf, arrange inspections, or renew permits.
Can an uploaded document supply the date?
A PDF or photo can provide a suggested expiration date for you to confirm. You can also enter it manually; DocuDue does not establish the correct legal deadline.
